How to perform routine maintenance on steel structure workshops

As some products are used outdoors for a long time, we all know that outdoor equipment has a limited service life and is constantly exposed to wind, rain and weathering. Regular maintenance is therefore essential. Below is the guidance on proper maintenance practices:

After the completion of installation of the steel structure workshop, the owner shall not alter the structure without authorization, remove bolts or other components, or add or partition walls. Any structural modifications must be discussed and confirmed with the manufacturer first. The steel components shall be repainted for maintenance approximately every three years to keep the building in good appearance. Since the workshop is assembled with steel members, electrical facilities such as wiring must be properly routed in cable trays and insulated to prevent electric shock hazards.

The steel workshop requires regular cleaning and maintenance, with a full inspection and servicing conducted once a year under normal conditions. When cleaning the exterior walls, take care not to cause damage. Do not use steel wool, hard brushes or abrasive cleaners; clean with water from top to bottom. Promptly remove tree branches, fallen leaves and other debris accumulated on the building to avoid overload-related issues. If the metal panels are deformed or damaged, restore them to their original shape in a timely manner to prevent corrosion from sunlight and rain. Where necessary, apply highly elastic protective materials to the metal roof panels. This provides effective thermal insulation and waterproofing for the building, optimizes the performance of indoor air conditioning systems and saves energy.
